I love witnessing. I Love the Lord. I want to share his goodness with everyone! I need a website that i can possibly join, or just go to... That is free. I particularly love ministering to young people. Internationally. I can't afford a mission trip, or i would be there in a heartbeat. I'm a military spouse, do I need a different degree to have a career?

So, my husband decided to join the military my senior year of college and went to bootcamp immediately after I graduated. I majored in a social science field with the intention of doing nonprofit work. We've been at our first duty station (Hawaii) for four months and I haven't had any luck landing a job despite a substantial work history, an internship, etc. under my belt. I've met with a career counselor on base who told me that I have excellent qualifications and a great resume, but my phone's not ringing. I'm starting to wonder if I should just go back to school for something more "portable" because it seems like most spouses who work are nurses, teachers, or have other careers that transfer easily. I really don't have any interest in the health care or teaching fields though, so I'd hate to go back to school for something I don't care about. Plus my guy doesn't even know if he's going to stay in the service. On the other hand, the military would help pay for me to go back to school so I'm afraid of not taking advantage of that opportunity. I offered to pay a minimum balance and Sallie Mae just wasn't having it. The guy practically made fun of me because I said I live by faith. I'm not saying that I shouldn't pay this back, because I know I should, but while running a non-profit full time, I don't have much time to get another job to attempt to pay this back. Does anyone know what my options could be? I mean, I made mistakes and now I'm facing a huge repercussion for it. Just got offered a job, but is the commute worth it?

I recently moved to Oahu and got offered a job at a nonprofit in Honolulu. Unfortunately the position only pays $12/hr and doesn't offer parking. Fees for parking in this area can run hundreds of dollars a month so taking the bus would be my only option. We never get to spend time together much though, i complain about not being able to see him much. I was up all of friday night/sat morning and the entire day out supporting him for a martial arts tournement he had that saturday, I didn't even get to sleep until we went to bed that night. I know he's tired but he's should also be considerate of how i feel and think to himself for a minute that he shouldn't be sleeping the enitre day almost up until he leaves, we didn't even get to spend quality time together. What pisses me off is he was the one chasing me and telling me he can piture himself with me for 25-50 years, that will be living together early next year when he gets this house with his friend and we'll get a dog or two. Him telling me stuff like that made me think it was okay to act more serious, so i am being serious and in my opinion i think it's mandatory to call me atleast once a day, which he does all up until we have an argument over something, then he goes m.i.a on me then complain about how he's too busy, has serious life responabilities he needs to handle, with work, fixing car and paying insurance, bills, finding a place to live, training and that i am becoming too controlling and demanding and with how i act he'll end up leaving. I don't understand why he needs to treat me like i'm not his girlfriend but doesn't say the damn words "IT'S OVER", so far after arguments he comes back by texting me something like "hi whats up" like it's all fine and dandy, or i end up apologizing just to try and end the fight between us. But I always have to go through hell to get him say anything. I don't understand why he's acting like this. It's like he acts like he wants to leave me but doesn't actually tell me instead kinda just gives me that threat he'll leave but we always just kinda forgive each other and forget about it, but we don't ever really have a talk about setting his needs and my needs, it's just ends up happening all over again. I just feel it's more serious now bcause we haven't seen each other since fathers day and last texted each other arguing on wednesday. It never really lasts this long, only like aboiut 2 or 3 days and then he texts me at some point. He was also in my town on saturday to go to his gym which is about a mile from me and he lives about a half hour to 45 minutes from when i live, and he didn't bother to say anything or come by to possibly talk about things. I am just really torn with how this is turning out, i won't leave him because i know he's a good guy when he doesn't have all this stress on him. Have any of you been in a siutation like this and what is your advice to handle this????
