VOLUNTEERING FOR ANIMAL RESCUE?

im thinking of volunteering for a nonprofit animal rescue but i'm not sure if i'm ready. i adopted all my dogs from them but they were all under 20 lbs. but the thing has pretty big dogs and i don't no if i can handle them. ANY ADVICE?
