Does anybody else want the simpsons to end?

The simpsons that I know and love were the simpsons from 1989-1999/2000 when they were a great show.The simpsons 99/00 - present are not only tired and repetitive,they arent even funny at all.The only reason they still get ratings is because of the charactors people love like homer,apu,bart,comic book guy ect.Its become the official comedy of the democrat party replacing political humor with political comentary and the jokes are stupid and the show is just so predictable.South park in its 15 season is better than the simpsons in their mid 90s prime and is a prime example of a great aminated comedy like the simpsons used to be.
