Should i buy an official or 3rd party ps2 memory card?

i saw a 3rd party (fake) ps2 memory card which is 64mb and that is Alot of storage but after reading reviews on them it seems that they will break after awhile and all your save games will be lost and i dont want that to happen so should i just buy 2 official 8mb ps2 memory cards?
